Hi @Rex G. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.

Based on the information provided in the knowledge sources, there isn't enough specific information to directly address why your avatar has a purple skin instead of the player's custom skin. However, I can provide some general guidance related to avatars in Normcore that may help troubleshoot the issue:
1. Meta Avatars: If you're using Meta Avatars, make sure you've properly set up the Meta Avatars SDK and requested the necessary platform API access. According to the Meta Avatars guide, you need to:
- Install the Normcore Meta XR package
- Import the Meta Avatars UPM sample
- Add the "AvatarSDKManagerMeta" prefab to your scene
- Use the "Realtime + Meta Avatar Player" prefab
2. Platform Initialization: Ensure that you've properly initialized the Oculus platform at runtime. As mentioned in the Meta Platform Prerequisites guide, failing to do so can lead to various issues.
3. Permissions and App ID: Verify that you've set up your Meta App correctly, requested the necessary permissions (including Avatars), and configured your Unity project with the correct App ID.
4. Custom Avatar Implementation: If you're using a custom avatar system, make sure your
RealtimeAvatar
component is set up correctly on your avatar prefab.
If you've checked all these points and are still experiencing issues, it might be helpful to review your avatar implementation or reach out to Normcore support for more specific assistance, as the provided knowledge sources don't contain enough information to diagnose this particular problem.
