Does the Normal Folder have to be in the Assets folder?
I'm wondering if I can move it to my Third-Party folder.

Hi @Alix Ollivier. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.

The knowledge sources do not explicitly state whether the "Normal" folder must remain in the root of the Assets folder or if it can be moved to a different location, such as a "Third-Party" folder. The documentation focuses on importing Normcore and ensuring it appears in your project, but does not mention folder structure requirements beyond the initial import process.
If you are considering moving the folder, be aware that some Unity packages and plugins expect their files to be in specific locations, and moving them could potentially cause issues with updates or references. Since this is not addressed in the official documentation, it is safest to leave the "Normal" folder where it is placed by the importer, or to test thoroughly if you decide to move it.
If you need a definitive answer or run into issues after moving the folder, it may be best to reach out to the Normcore team or check their Discord for community advice, as suggested in the upgrade guideUpgrading from Normcore 1 to Normcore 2.

you can move it anywhere in the Assets folder. A third-party folder will work fine
