Is there an ETA for the Room API?
We are; but I don't think it'll be the same. Managing (or checking/controlling) two separate services is not stable. And of course, UGS limits are a bit low and it complicates things. We've too many users and many different devices/conditions (right now only mobile users), etc. So, using Unity lobby to check if a room is alive (and/or what it's current state, etc) is not 100% trustable. We even tried Firebase RTDB; but if the last user just closes the game (or puts the game to the background), then we can't be sure about the room anymore. All services have different timeouts, different regions, etc.

More server regions
From our game's analytics we've found 4 servers so far (more than 130K users); Netherlands, USA (New Jersey), USA (New Jersey), USA (California). These are definitely not enough 🥲 I thought there were an Asian server, but it seems there is none. Even we separate the players by ourself (for region based matchmaking), there is not enough servers, especially for Asia (and of course Africa/MENA, but not as bad as Asian region).

More server regions
I think another Asia server is needed 🥲 Most of the complaints about the multiplayer lags are coming from Vietnam, India, Thailand, etc. for us. I believe their pings are between 150-300 usually. And maybe another one for Africa or MENA.
